Primul sezon a debutat acum un an pe aceeasi vreme la B'Estival, cu tricourile Pisica Patrata pe care sigur le-ai vazut in rafturile BASE sau purtate pe strada, prin cluburi, la scoala, la munca sau pe unde nu te gandesti. Povestea continua si e cat se poate de simpla. You support BASE Streetwear and we support the artists. Facem casa buna impreuna si asa am decis sa continuam ce am inceput anul trecut printr-o noua colectie pe care o poti gasi in shop incepand cu seara de Sambata - 19 Iunie incepand cu ora 21:00 la BASE Cafe pe Strada Sepcari 22 in Centrul Istoric din capitala.

Ce sa faci acolo? O sa fii primul care da ochii cu noile tricouri si primul care poate avea unul. Mai mult - iti cumperi un tricou alb cu artwork-ul unuia dintre artisti din cele pe care le gasesti de Sambata in magazin si iti facem reducere la jumatate cand iti cumperi al doilea tricou din Seria Color Collection. Pe langa asta bei un fresh / cocktail / bere fie inauntru cu aer conditionat fie pe terasa si dansezi pana se crapa de ziua pe muzici de la Toné si Meeloox. Ce sa-ti mai zicem decat ca daca vrei sa stii mai multe despre noua colectie - ai ocazia sa stai la o poveste cu artistii intr-o atmosfera foarte tare cu oameni misto si muzica buna.

For the first time in the history of this competition, the podium was conquered by one city, Constanta. „Pedagogic” Crew representing the National Teachers College - Constantin Br?tescu won the first place, with a show that impressed the jury and received frantic applause of the audience. Second place was taken by the students of Lucian Blaga High School, and the dancers from Mihai Eminescu College got the third place.

In a tough final with guests like Alex Velea and Grasu XXL, 24 high school crews made sensations in the fight for „ The best dancers of the country” title. Impressive choreography staged with talent, costumes and suggestive winners attitude: this was the "recipe" for the  fourth Final of the Cup StreetDance High School.

"It's hard to decide who will occupy the podium! I saw today really talented bands dedicated to dance. Whatever the final decision, all are winners, "the judges said in unison, before final scores.

The show was completed by the Star Band, from Marius Bunescu Kids Club from  Caracal, the wonderful number of rhythmic gymnastics staged by Irina Lalciu -  member of the Jackpot band, and hip hop dance demonstration  made by Roberto Done from Constanta. Roberto is the winner in his age category at Hip Hop International Romania and will represent the country at Hip Hop International in Las Vegas in late July.


But the fun did not stop there! After the Final, all participating bands, guests, spectators and organizers  went  to the Constitution Square to be with Alex Velea at the biggest flash mob ever made in Romania - Summer Start Flash Mob. And here, the dance managed to unite  different people, in the end of a weekend dedicated to urban culture.

List of artists that will be present at Summerjam Fest 2010 was completed almost three weeks before the start of the festival. The three stages from Paulesti will host, between February and July 4, about 50 artists and bands  carefully chosen. We’ll have three days of fun on different rythms from dubstep, hip-hop and reggae. And because time passes quickly and plans must be made in time, from 10 June you can buy  tickets for one day. Their price is 50 RON (for Friday and Saturday) and 40 RON (on Sunday). Besides day tickets you can buy subscriptions that will guarantee access to all three days of the festival at a price of 120 RON.

Among the artists of international caliber  we have Ziggi, Promoe, DJ Vadim Presents The Electric, Sean Price, Deekline, A-skillz, Million Dan, JFB, Sabac Red and True Ingredients.

Ziggi won awards such as Best Album, Best Live Act and Best Artist in Holland and was located 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 of the German reggae charts. In 2007 Ziggi won an undisputed reputation, as special guest, with his band, The Renaissance Band, in the Gentleman Another Intensity European Tour - the largest tournament of 2007. Ziggi will perform at Summerjam, besides the songs that made him famous,  tracks from the new EP, which roared into the world of reggae music in Europe.

Sean Price, another artist that is for the first time in Romania is considered a legend of hip-hop. He has over 11  albums  and is the founding member of the famous group Heltah Skeltah. Throughout his over 25 years  career, three albums on which he collaborated - DIRT (Da Incredible Rap Team), Night, Monkey Stork - were considered the best hip hop productions of the year.

Among the Romanian artist are very popular bands like Parazitii, Suie Paparude, El Negro,  Aria Urbana, Blanoz Soundsystem and Silent Strike.

Parazitii, the most active hip-hop band in Romania in the past 20 years are a band that needs no introduction. Their songs  have a strong social message and are known by everyon.  At Summerjam you will have the opportunity to hear in premiere live  tracks from the new album “Tot ce e bun tre’ sa dispara”. This  album will be released on June 15.
